*The selected recipient will be required to meet with our team prior to the event kick-off date to introduce your organization, meet the architects who will build your website, and establish some project goals. This preliminary meeting will also walk them through the process and timeline for the week of The Big Bang event. The recipient will be given a list of items that they will need to provide Webfitters during our official event kick-off. The date for our event kick-off will be determined after a recipient is selected March 31st, 2022, with website construction to begin within a month of that date. An hour of training is provided prior to or following the launch so the recipient can maintain the website after completion.
Once the recipient’s website has been launched, they will receive one year of free web hosting. After that standard rates apply. Any follow up/support work performed on the website will be billed on a time and materials basis (with the exception of all warranty work).
Throughout the week of the event, the recipient will be asked to have one or more team members available for promotional video interviews and/or questions from our team. These times can be prearranged if necessary.
Webfitters will be sharing highlights of the project throughout the week on social media. All footage will also be used for future promotion of our annual event. By submitting your application to participate in The Big Bang, you are agreeing to the following:
- A video testimonial and recorded interview that Webfitters (and you) can use for marketing purposes
- A written testimonial and Google Review of Webfitters’ process and/or staff
- Permission to use your organization’s name, logo and project collateral to showcase Webfitters’ efforts
- Help promote future Big Bang events through social media posts and/or sharing
